At Melrose Surgery, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive environment for all our patients, including those with disabilities or mobility challenges.

Parking and Entry

Both of our surgery locations offer on-site parking facilities for patients, including designated disabled parking spaces located close to the main entrance for ease of access. Our entrances are designed to accommodate wheelchair users and individuals with mobility needs.

Building Access and Navigation

To ensure accessibility for all, both of our surgeries are equipped with lifts that provide easy access to all patient-facing areas. Our premises are designed to be spacious and wheelchair-friendly, allowing patients to move comfortably throughout the building.

Toilets and Baby-Changing Facilities

We provide fully accessible patient toilets at both of our locations, including facilities designed for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, baby-changing stations are available for parents and caregivers, ensuring convenience for those visiting with young children.

Hearing Assistance

To support patients who are hard of hearing, we have installed an induction loop system at the reception of our Melrose London Road site. This system enhances communication for individuals who use hearing aids with a ‘T’ (telecoil) setting, helping to reduce background noise and improve clarity during interactions with our staff.

Additional Support

If you require any further assistance during your visit, please do not hesitate to ask a member of our team. We are always happy to help ensure that your experience at our surgery is as comfortable and accessible as possible.
